ICFF: MOOZA’s Round Up

The International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF 2023) has come to an end. MOOZA’s international debut was a success by the side of our visitors. As attendees approached our Booth, a melange of resplendent colours assailed the senses, akin to an ethereal painting come to life. Vivid hues danced in harmony with the Stitch in Time Modular Sofa and the popping touches of purple from our collaboration with Manulena. Intricate textures, luxurious materials, and the porous texture of the travertine marble were present all around our Stand for three days of contemporary and inspirational design.

Showcasing MOOZA’s intricate joinery and unparalleled woodwork skills were the Natura Dining Table and the Walk in the Park Dining Chair. This Dining Set of exquisite craftsmanship and refined aesthetics commanded attention, inviting admirers to embark upon a sensory journey into the realm of unique joinery. At the base of this opulent tableau is an ode to the artisan’s virtuosity. A combination of noble materials created a soulful statement within meticulously carved motifs, showcasing the sublime fusion of vision and skill. Modest lines and rounded edges are clean for the eye and exude a soothing atmosphere—true jewels of contemporary design. 

With audacious strokes of creativity, the MOOZA’s Lighting Collection shattered conventions, redefining the very essence of contemporary lighting design. Each luminary, a symphony of form and function, transcended the mundane, embodying a narrative of boundless imagination and unrestrained expression.

Materials, too, danced to the tune of daring experimentation, embracing the unconventional with open arms. Opal glass caught and refracted illumination in captivating ways. Metal, with its unyielding resilience, bent and twisted into mesmerizing shapes, encapsulating the very essence of contemporary industrial allure.

The Crossing Paths Rug brought life to a veritable cornucopia of artistry—a captivating corner bewitched the discerning eye of ICFF’s attendees. Its captivating fusion of shapes, textures, and colours offered a creative interpretation of everything MOOZA’s Booth represented. Each footstep on the New Zealand wool surface was a testament to the rug’s whimsical charm, paired with the vibrancy from the Stitch in Time Modular Sofa’s green natural leather. Its majestic presence resonated with our commitment to celebrating such organic matters.

The front stage of MOOZA’s Booth was at the Natura Sideboard. A piece with a grandiose presence and a blend of various luxurious materials. The Sideboard stood as a tribute to the marriage of materials, where marble, wood, and stainless steel coalesced in a symphony of tactile opulence. The marriage of form and function was executed with precision, allowing the design to transcend the realms of utility, becoming a sculptural masterpiece that whispered tales of sophistication and refined living.

Two panels welcomed our visitors, displaying the brand’s values and aspirations, along with our Sample Box. The attention to detail follows every action we take, with a profound will to meet and exceed our client’s expectations. A cinematic approach to furniture design at ICFF

ICFF is going at full steam, and we have approached the last day with remarkable feedback from our visitors. A memorable design experience, with performative pieces and a sensory collection built from luxurious materials. A differentiating color palette mirrors the brand’s creative thinking, merging intricate shapes with geometric and mainly round edges. MOOZA’s Booth is lightened by a diffuse luminescence coming from its lighting collection, inspired by modern luxury and contemporary living. 

Indulge in an unlimited source of singular furnishings and home objects. 

Respect for organic and luxury materials 

MOOZA’s Booth is a celebration of materials, which shine from a deep understanding of modern and contemporary luxury design approaches. The Moonlight Woods Sideboard has stolen the attention of our visitors, along with the magnitude of the Daydream Bookcase, transporting our clients to a place of comfort and realm. The Stitch in Time Modular Sofa features intricate hand-stitching, a symbol of the brand’s quality and attention to detail. 

The colors from Crossing Paths Rug have attracted the attention of the attendees, who do not shy away from experiencing MOOZA’s cinema-inspired Booth. Points of smooth light create a comfortable atmosphere and simultaneously highlight the natural patterns and variations of the surrounding materials. We’ve created a breathable, livable, and performative booth, built for ICFF’s attendees to experience. 

A contemporary approach to luxury design

The Natura Sideboard is the epitome of modern luxury and yet another showstopper at ICFF. A tribute to nature from its first draws, the base resembles small plant sprouts and its immensity hasn’t been ignored. MOOZA’s items have attracted attention for their composition and the luxurious materials that flow through the full collection. Our Swatch Box includes desirable Marbles, like Travertine and Calacatta, or Solid Wood in Oak and Walnut, and a curated selection of Fabrics and Leathers. A Box of indulging textures and prominent colors.

MOOZA & Manulena Come Together for ICFF

Expect an exhibition of contemporary furnishings and collectible home objects to create elegant, intimate spaces filled with personality and intricate textures at ICFF 2023. By revisiting modernism, SS23 Collection includes immaculate attention to detail, solid wood designs, lighting fixtures, and attention-stealing home accessories. In order to contribute to exceptional interiors, MOOZA brings a curated selection of inimitable character. 

We will be collaborating with the Portuguese brand Manulena, to bring a dazzle of color and fragrant bliss to MOOZA’s Booth. Manulena has been on the market for more than 50 years and creates decorative items with the highest quality, from sophisticated production techniques and the best ingredients. The selection coming to ICFF includes strong palettes from MOOZA’s identity and other sculptural candles. Multiple shapes flow through a Booth with a cinematic ambiance and sensory experience. Circular shapes and mainly softened edges create a comfortable, inviting atmosphere, spacious enough to feel and embrace the textures from luxurious fabrics and contemporary materials. A fair and truthful representation of what one can expect from MOOZA: luxury materials, immersive shapes, and a playful color approach. A reminiscent portrayal of contemporaneity, through a conscious and ever-more sustainable production process.

On May 20th, Maison Gérard – a gallery specializing in collectible French furniture, lighting, and objets d’art – opens its doors for an exhibition of contemporary and Art Deco design.

Madison Avenue Design Week

Arouse your design senses, from May 20th to 25th, with bespoke experiences through a rich program of exhibitions, talks, and in-store tours. Madison Avenue runs from East 57th to East 86th Streets and is filled with events organized by more than 20 renowned brands.

The Full Moon Ride Pendant allows the light to cross a chequered lustrous structure, hand-built in polished nickel brass. Designed to inspire new dimensions of contemporary lighting.

Inner Circle Mirror

A mirror introducing a new level of cool! Crafted from the most luxurious materials, its circular shape adds a playful touch to any space while creating a visually stunning focal point. 

MOOZA takes full advantage and explores its regional resources from the North of Portugal, globally known for its expertise in furniture manufacturing.
